How is the box estimate calculated?
We combine floor area, bedrooms, people, years in the home and belongings. Extras adjust the size breakdown. This is guidance, not an inventory or a guarantee of accuracy.
Should I add another margin?
No. The percentage chosen in step 2 is already applied to small, medium and large boxes. Wardrobe boxes are estimated separately and you can adjust them in step 3.
Does the pack cover all my boxes?
Check the shortfall for each size. Extra large boxes do not automatically replace small boxes for heavy items. The displayed price is for the pack only; additional items are not included in that amount.
How do I save and restore my estimate?
Save link copies a URL containing your home details and settings. You can open it in another browser. We also try to save the estimate in this browser for 30 days. Prices and availability are checked again when you open it.
Can I calculate which vehicle I need?
This tool estimates boxes. Choosing a vehicle also requires measurements of furniture, appliances and access; floor area alone is not enough.
