The 50x35x35 cm box is the middle size in our moving range: larger than the 40x30x30 cm box (which is too small for clothes) and more manageable than the 60x40x40 cm box (which is too big for heavy items). It's the ultimate all-purpose box, and it also happens to be the perfect size for storing and shipping vinyl records .

Why is this box ideal for vinyl records?

A standard 12" LP vinyl record sleeve measures approximately 31.5 x 31.5 cm. With an interior width of 35 cm, this case allows records to be stored vertically with just enough room for side protection. The 50 cm length provides space for about 40-50 records in a row (depending on the thickness of the sleeves), and the 35 cm height covers the entire sleeve with room for a layer of bubble wrap on top.

For vinyl record shipments via courier, it's important that the records are always packed vertically (never lying flat, as the weight of the top ones will deform the bottom ones) and securely supported so they don't move around inside the box. Fill any gaps with crumpled kraft paper or bubble wrap.
